There’s nothing better than shopping… Unless you are shopping for a cause. Last week, Gucci teamed up with Promises 2 Kids, a charity I am very passionate about and have been associated with for the last 2 years. This event was special from the rest. Gucci had Italian artisans flown in from Milan to hand craft one of a kind ‘Icon’ Bags. To have a bag literally made in front of you is special enough, to see the snake skins hand painted in front of prospective buyers and each bag sewn and completed to perfection was a handbag collectors dream! Tonight I wanted to wear something feminine but edgy. I decided to go with this bold print Clover Canyon neoprene dress. I picked one dominant color out of my dress and accessorized accordingly. I played on the blood orange hue and matched my shoes with my handbag. My Jimmy Choo fish wire booties were a hit and the matching Givenchy bag pulled the look together. I wore my hair in a sock bun and threw on some costume emerald earrings. Now, time to sip and shop with my beautiful friends! Cheers!
** Curious about the charity? Promises 2 kids is a child abuse prevention center dedicated to providing shelter, protection and support to over 2000 San Diego children each year. To donate or get involved please visit http://promises2kids.org/ **

Where do I start? RVN has created this luxe legging that stands out amongst the rest. They really paid attention to detail when creating these beauties. The pattern, color combo and design scream perfection. They are some seriously haute pants!
Since the pant was so loud, I left my blouse and accessories as muted as possible. A chic silk blouse and black leather ankle booties left my look polished and pretty. Anytime I wear gold, I usually do a bright red lip. Something about red and gold just go hand in hand. I wore my favorite YSL rouge red lipstick, left my hair in loose waves and headed to din at my favorite restaurant in la jolla, 9TEN. My accessories continued in the black and gold family. I wore this hot BCBG faux leather clutch and braided bracelet for a little added touch.
** Style Tip: When wearing prints, be very careful to not overdue the look. Prints are meant to stand out, so shoot for balance when wearing them. Mixing prints can look incredible, you just have to make sure you aren’t taking away from an amazing outfit by overdoing it. When wearing printed leggings, try them before you buy them! Sometimes printed bottoms can accent certain parts of your body you probably don’t want people to notice. Make sure the lines and design are appropriate for your shape. **
Feels like Fall and I couldn’t be happier. (I love fall fashion!) Today I had a million errands to run. I’m heading to South America next week for a month and needed to get my affairs in order! Yikes, being a business owner and trying to go on vacation for a weekend is hard enough let alone leaving for a month! Ayayai!! Being the OCD person that I am, I had back to back meetings and silly annoying things I needed to get done before I left. I grabbed my favorite oversized Free People card and this cute forever21 fedora and headed out. San Diego fall probably feels like summer to most but today had a little bit of a breeze and I thought a fitted tank, my J brand photo ready jeans and this cardigan were the perfect fit for my day.
I love adding a pop of color in an all black outfit. It adds a bit of pizzaz. Instead of warm boots I wore my Zara lace up pumps. They are a comfortable shoe for popping from place to place. I needed a bag where everything from my cell phone to credit cards were easily accessible. The bigger the bag I carry the more of a black hole it becomes! To top off this look I grabbed my hamsa bracelets and headed out.
