Here are photos from my last night in Morocco.. WOW! There are no words to describe what an incredible 3 weeks I had in this magnificent country! It was only appropriate to go all out and reminisce about the many fun and exciting adventures we had endured along the way.
The setting was beautiful.. 75 degree weather with a dark night’s sky and a stunning view of the Koutoubia, Mosque . It was picture perfect.
I saved this white Grecian gown for a special evening and thought this was just the night to wear it. White and gold are one of my favorite color combos, and white at night is stunning! It gives off such a polished, elegant look. I wore taupe braided stilettos with a gold embossed heel. Mix and match this season, not just colors, but textiles as well.
Accessorizing was easy, I mixed some silver and gold together and made it work. As we toast to a memorable trip, I bid farewell to the lovely country of Morocco.

Put aside your bold accessories and go for a statement dress. As we all know, black and white is a global trend for 2014. Abstract designs and asymmetrical prints are the perfect way to mix up your look. This artsy patterend sheer dress is a huge obsession of mine. I wore a black lightweight slip under for a sultry yet sophisticated look.
I was determined to wear my all time favorite pumps for an eye catching ensemble. Which btw, these Gucci Ursula pumps have been a wear-forever investment worth every penny. I have yet to find a black pump I prefer over these beauties. (hashtag, FACT) I completed my outfit with an all white pashmina and acrylic bag for an art-deco look. This outfit was easy enough to put together that I didn’t miss the sunset! WOW. Now time for some tagine!
This summer, whether I’m lounging poolside or on an exotic beach, you can bet I will be in a bikini and a beautiful cover-up. Because I clearly got bit by the travel bug, I’ve been over-indulging in different cuisine and not discriminating against any food placed in front of me… lol! Needless to say I gained some travel weight and didn’t feel very comfortable in a teenie tiny bikini. I opted for this cute “top shop” high-waisted suit. Take me back to the 50′s! It was such a cute alternative to what I usually wear and I really felt confident in it!
This culture-filled beach in Taghazout, Morocco is like no other beach I have ever been to. The vibrant colors, music, and people was quite impressive.
I wore my favorite kaftan by Skinny Bikini as it was perfect to throw on after sun bathing to go grab a bite to eat. The beaded detail on the front is almost too beautiful to wear to the beach. Thankfully it dressed up my solid bikini and made a statement for itself.
Kaftans are great layered over a fitted slip worn as a dress to dinner or paired with a bandeau and cute shorts. **I always prefer silk kaftans to cotton coverups because the silk drys quicker should it get wet. Not to mention the obvious, the silk gives off a more luxe look while keeping your effortless style.**

Hey babes. Trying to keep cool on day 2 of my trip to Morocco. I had an eventful day yesterday so decided to sit poolside with my laptop and a refreshing mojito. I’ve been obsessing over this ‘For Love & Lemons’ dress and decided to try it as a cover up. Yellow is such a cheerful color and is HUGE this summer. Bright shades make for bright people. Who doesn’t look happy in a bright yellow dress? So, anyways. I loved this high-low, lined dress so I could take my look from poolside chic to lunch-ready. The faint floral detailing throughout made for a sweet feminine look. I paired it with my basic bamboo sandals and my MUST HAVE bag and headed out for some Desert sun!
*A few ways to wear yellow this season. If your not in the mood to rock a solid frock, mix n match your bright hues. Find a pair of yellow shorts, a pretty purple blouse or turquoise (they are a great color combo). And add neutral accessories to complete your style. If possible, wear a bracelet or necklace that ties the 2 colors together and rock it with confidence.
Tip for wearing yellow: This hard to wear hue has a history of bringing the redness out of your skin. It’s also notorious for sometimes washing people out depending on the pigment in your skin. If you are fair complected, go for yellow on your lower half and try a more complimentary hue on top. If you’re sun kissed and confident, wear it with pride! **
