Orange Crush

Finally a day off!  It’s been a hectic week!  Better to be busy than not.  So anyyyways!  Today was jam packed with errands.  Since I knew I’d be running around all day I went for a casual cool style.  My can’t-miss-me sneaks were a must.  I’m so in love with orange this season its redic.  Find your favorite pop of color and wear it all season long.  Another favorite of mine, a basic, ultra-soft cotton tee and some denim shorts.  It was a little breezy so I layered on an army jacket and my statement necklace from Morocco.

This year fashion has been layer crazy.  Any chance I get, I layer my looks.  Currently crop top crazed w/ a high waisted skirt but need something a little more conservative around my clients.  I have been layering lightweight jackets and bold jewelry to throw the focus off my midriff and onto my outfit.  For fall, I’m all about sporting an edgy rocker feel. Try leather pants, a black cotton tee and layer a flannel.  Cheers to the weekend!

Viva La Madrid

So, THANK GAWD I got the opportunity to visit Madrid after Morocco.  I literally fell in love with this city.  There’s something about the Latin culture that makes me come alive.  From the food and friendliness, to the music… It’s just an incredible culture.  Because you can’t be in Spain and not go to a flamenco show, we made it our first stop.  I highly recommend booking a table at Corral de la Moreria for dinner and the most incredible flamenco show EVER!  I mean like WOW.  I felt like I was burning calories while watching these dancers.

Madrid was extremely warm so a cocktail dress and comfortable pumps made for the perfect outfit for a night on the town.

I wore this soft pastel printed For Love and Lemons dress a basic white pashmina and my comfy braided pumps.  I was ready to paint the town red!

A must see landmark, Almudena Catedral.  Absolutely stunning!

isadora opening

Accessorizing on a budget??? I have found the most perfect store!  You WILL go nuts in this place. I was fortunate enough to get an invite to the Grand O. at Isadora located in the North County Westfield mall.  I was like a kid in a candy store! Honestly, I was totally OBSESSED with so many cute pieces of jewelry for this summer. And still inspired by my recent trip to Morocco, I found pieces that had a worldly flare and funky designs to dress up a dull look.

Each piece is made of a rust-free metal that doesn’t oxidize or make you smell like metal. Yuck, I hate when jewelry leaves that after-smell, ew.  So, anyways. This place is amaze.  I have worn the crap out of my gold chain bracelets and get compliments on the regular.

They also have an amazing collection of scarves in vibrant prints made from soft cotton. Easy breezy and won’t break the bank! Be bold and wear’s Summertime!

Check them out @Isadora_USA on Twitter and Insta and Isadora USA on Facebook!

Thanks again to Isadora and their helpful staff!

Flower Bomb in Equipment Floral Bomber

This season is the time to shine!  Summer is calling for neon hues, flower power and crop tops galore!  I was a little opposed to the crop top trend until I found a way to sport it.  I layered this all white 2 piece with a floral bomber jacket.  It was cute, simple and added an 80s flare. Because we’re flashing back to a lot of 80s inspiration I had to pull out a pair of neon pumps.

Floral prints are a big summer must.  Whether you are wearing an all over printed playsuit or rocking a pair of pants covered in peonies, add FLORAL to your Summer must haves.  I wear my floral bomber jacket with literally EVERYTHING!!  It breaks up an otherwise boring outfit and is lightweight enough to wear in even the hottest places.

For those nay sayers, get over your print phobia and grow a green thumb.

*SHOE TIP*   When wearing all white, accent with colorful accessories.  Pick a color that compliments your accessories.  Cobalt blue is everyones favorite go-to outside of the otherwise safe black.  Try to find a necklace or bracelets with the matching hue to break up your stark white look.
