Because we all have “Off Duty” days, I went for a layered look and a luxe leather skirt. I had a million things to do so I threw up my hair in a twisted knot bun and slipped on my ill-mannered flats. The off duty days rarely require effort, THANK, GAWD! My comfy “Lovin Paris” sweatie, oversized cargo jacket and flats made for a casual cute look. I’m obsessing over these crazy cool sunnies. They have a jagged stud detail around the frame and a deep purple ombre tint. LOOVE! If I can make a recommendation this year, opt for a hip cargo jacket that can carry you through your off days for the rest of 2014. Leather jackets are great, but an army green oversized jacket… hopefully with quilted leather sleeves can be worn with virtually anything! I have a hard time not wearing mine every other day. Try pairing it with an all white tank, distressed denim, gladiator flats and oversized shades. Cool thing about cargo, you don’t need to spend a lot of cash for a lot of flash! Check mine out at barneys new york… Cheers to the Off Duty days babes!

Back off STUDS! There’s a new metal in town! Metal detailing is everywhere adding industrial edge to fashion! This grommet leather skirt has to be the most bad ass skirt I have ever worn. Its tasteful length and tailored body makes for a staple classic to add to ANY wardrobe. The grommet detail adds a bold edge to an otherwise basic leather skirt. I played on the muted metal accents and went for a chic graphic tee. Lace up pumps and a high pony were the perfect addition to this modern day look. I wanted to stick with a black and white dominated trend, so this white Balenciaga runway bag was the perfect fit. Take this look from daytime to DATE-time… If the skirt is a bit much, try a grommet style bag. Embellishments are on point right now, so go ahead and make a statement!
One of my favorite go-to looks is an oversized sweater, skinnies and cool boots. You can guarantee this is a fashion repeat for me at least once a week. Winter time in San Diego is obviously not really “winter time”, so a lightweight sweater is perfect for our 60 degree sunshine n’ feel in fine kinda days. I’ve said this over and over, and I’ll say it again, coated denim are my all time fave! The conifer green hue pairs perfectly with neutral colors or worn back to black. This pant is a great transition pant for spring 2014. To stay hip with the scene, these hot pants will most likely be styled with a vibrant blouse complimented by ivory undertones and a neutral shoe. I’m so hyped for spring!!
To complete my casual style, I rocked this adorable wildfox lightweight sweatie, distressed boots and accessorized with a hammered gold cuff to accent the gold hardware on my boots and bag. Effortless Chic!

Hello Darlings!! Ready for a super strong trend in 2014? It’s a mod mod world and I’m mod about you! haaa, Ok, I’ll stop. But really, 2014 is the comeback year for mod. So expect the fashion forecast to be filled with 60s inspired looks, bold geometric prints, and primary colors for days. Multi print minis are a must, if you have to go for something a little more subtle, try a geometric sweater with a subdue pant. Still not sold? Try a color blocked parka over that dull all black outfit. Yes, you will LOOOOVE it!
I had a blast from the past when I put this outfit together! I totally felt like Heather Graham in Austin Powers in this Clover Canyon dress! Since the dress was so bold I threw on a solid cape vest to tone it down. Fun sunnies really were the added touch. A basic black pump and pop of color bag completed my look and I was ready to boogey down!
