isadora opening

Accessorizing on a budget??? I have found the most perfect store!  You WILL go nuts in this place. I was fortunate enough to get an invite to the Grand O. at Isadora located in the North County Westfield mall.  I was like a kid in a candy store! Honestly, I was totally OBSESSED with so many cute pieces of jewelry for this summer. And still inspired by my recent trip to Morocco, I found pieces that had a worldly flare and funky designs to dress up a dull look.

Each piece is made of a rust-free metal that doesn’t oxidize or make you smell like metal. Yuck, I hate when jewelry leaves that after-smell, ew.  So, anyways. This place is amaze.  I have worn the crap out of my gold chain bracelets and get compliments on the regular.

They also have an amazing collection of scarves in vibrant prints made from soft cotton. Easy breezy and won’t break the bank! Be bold and wear’s Summertime!

Check them out @Isadora_USA on Twitter and Insta and Isadora USA on Facebook!

Thanks again to Isadora and their helpful staff!

Flower Bomb in Equipment Floral Bomber

This season is the time to shine!  Summer is calling for neon hues, flower power and crop tops galore!  I was a little opposed to the crop top trend until I found a way to sport it.  I layered this all white 2 piece with a floral bomber jacket.  It was cute, simple and added an 80s flare. Because we’re flashing back to a lot of 80s inspiration I had to pull out a pair of neon pumps.

Floral prints are a big summer must.  Whether you are wearing an all over printed playsuit or rocking a pair of pants covered in peonies, add FLORAL to your Summer must haves.  I wear my floral bomber jacket with literally EVERYTHING!!  It breaks up an otherwise boring outfit and is lightweight enough to wear in even the hottest places.

For those nay sayers, get over your print phobia and grow a green thumb.

*SHOE TIP*   When wearing all white, accent with colorful accessories.  Pick a color that compliments your accessories.  Cobalt blue is everyones favorite go-to outside of the otherwise safe black.  Try to find a necklace or bracelets with the matching hue to break up your stark white look.

White at Night

Here are photos from my last night in Morocco.. WOW! There are no words to describe what an incredible 3 weeks I had in this magnificent country!  It was only appropriate to go all out and reminisce about the many fun and exciting adventures we had endured along the way.

The setting was beautiful..  75 degree weather with a dark night’s sky and a stunning view of the Koutoubia, Mosque .  It was picture perfect.

I saved this white Grecian gown for a special evening and thought this was just the night to wear it.  White and gold are one of my favorite color combos, and white at night is stunning! It gives off such a polished, elegant look.  I wore taupe braided stilettos with a gold embossed heel.  Mix and match this season, not just colors, but textiles as well.

Accessorizing was easy, I mixed some silver and gold together and made it work.  As we toast to a memorable trip, I bid farewell to the lovely country of Morocco.

Mad for Maroc

Put aside your bold accessories and go for a statement dress.  As we all know, black and white is a global trend for 2014.   Abstract designs and asymmetrical prints are the perfect way to mix up your look.  This artsy patterend sheer dress is a huge obsession of mine.  I wore a black lightweight slip under for a sultry yet sophisticated look.

I was determined to wear my all time favorite pumps for an eye catching ensemble.  Which btw, these Gucci Ursula pumps have been a wear-forever investment worth every penny.  I have yet to find a black pump I prefer over these beauties. (hashtag, FACT) I completed my outfit with an all white pashmina and acrylic bag for an art-deco look.  This outfit was easy enough to put together that I didn’t miss the sunset!  WOW.  Now time for some tagine!
