Resort is here and brighter than ever! Sharp neon hues are huge this season and I’ve already picked my favorites. Neon yellow and Hot Pink! Hello baby! Ok, Lately it’s been hotter than heck in San Diego! So naturally, I knew this vibrant look was totally appropriate, even in the middle of winter! I was torn on which top to wear, so I wore both! lol. If you thought layering was only for snow days, you thought wrong! Layering a risqué bustier over a sheer long sleeve, tones down a provocative look. It adds to a more practical approach without loosing your sex-ay! I choose these bold and perfectly printed palazzo pants to make a fashionably fun statement. Last, but most certainly not least, I wore this eye-catching cross-body bag. Having a statement bag can turn any outfit from drab to fab. Try buying outside the box. Be bold this season and stand out amongst the rest!
One of my favorite go-to looks is an oversized sweater, skinnies and cool boots. You can guarantee this is a fashion repeat for me at least once a week. Winter time in San Diego is obviously not really “winter time”, so a lightweight sweater is perfect for our 60 degree sunshine n’ feel in fine kinda days. I’ve said this over and over, and I’ll say it again, coated denim are my all time fave! The conifer green hue pairs perfectly with neutral colors or worn back to black. This pant is a great transition pant for spring 2014. To stay hip with the scene, these hot pants will most likely be styled with a vibrant blouse complimented by ivory undertones and a neutral shoe. I’m so hyped for spring!!
To complete my casual style, I rocked this adorable wildfox lightweight sweatie, distressed boots and accessorized with a hammered gold cuff to accent the gold hardware on my boots and bag. Effortless Chic!

Hello Darlings!! Ready for a super strong trend in 2014? It’s a mod mod world and I’m mod about you! haaa, Ok, I’ll stop. But really, 2014 is the comeback year for mod. So expect the fashion forecast to be filled with 60s inspired looks, bold geometric prints, and primary colors for days. Multi print minis are a must, if you have to go for something a little more subtle, try a geometric sweater with a subdue pant. Still not sold? Try a color blocked parka over that dull all black outfit. Yes, you will LOOOOVE it!
I had a blast from the past when I put this outfit together! I totally felt like Heather Graham in Austin Powers in this Clover Canyon dress! Since the dress was so bold I threw on a solid cape vest to tone it down. Fun sunnies really were the added touch. A basic black pump and pop of color bag completed my look and I was ready to boogey down!

Because you can’t always dress to the nines, I opt for dressed up duds with an effortless twist. Coated denim is my go to pant, it looks dressy but its still denim. I currently have 4 pairs of coated denim in 4 different shades. They really go with EVERYTHING and are a great alternative to pricey leather. I wore a basic neutral pump, and cable knit sweater in warm hues, which are sure to be a perfect fit no matter where you’re heading. This look is standard for me running around the store helping clients or if I have a last minute meeting. It’s put together without trying too hard. Another great thing about neutral hues, they are understated and non threatening. Meaning, you stick with a basic color way and you can throw in 3 or four shades without looking like you got dressed in the dark. lol. Remember this, neutrals are like all black, its polished and perfect all year round.
