Heading to a chic event? Well then this is the outfit for you! I was off to the Promises to Kids event hosted by Jimmy Choo to support foster children of San Diego. Incredible charity to get involved with. Click here to learn more.
I needed a fashion forward look that kept a professional feel. I knew clients of mine would be attending this event so I layered on as much as I could to be my own walking billboard. lol. Blush is just melting my heart this season. I’m more and more drawn to blush pink as a neutral color that compliments EVERY hue! I had this pencil skirt and crop top already in mind but didn’t really know what jacket to wear. I’m not one who does “conservative” too well but I definitely know how to keep it classy. Thankfully this beautiful lace/ leather combo jacket arrived this afternoon so I tried it. I love the way the jacket made the outfit! Naturally, I rocked the heck out of it and grabbed a blush pink clutch to compliment the soft undertones in the jacket. I was really feeling my new Gucci Ursula pumps but thought It would be offensive to not wear something to support the brand endorsing the event. I changed into a white strappy Jimmy Choo pump and was off to shop for a cause!
Because you can’t always dress to the nines, I opt for dressed up duds with an effortless twist. Coated denim is my go to pant, it looks dressy but its still denim. I currently have 4 pairs of coated denim in 4 different shades. They really go with EVERYTHING and are a great alternative to pricey leather. I wore a basic neutral pump, and cable knit sweater in warm hues, which are sure to be a perfect fit no matter where you’re heading. This look is standard for me running around the store helping clients or if I have a last minute meeting. It’s put together without trying too hard. Another great thing about neutral hues, they are understated and non threatening. Meaning, you stick with a basic color way and you can throw in 3 or four shades without looking like you got dressed in the dark. lol. Remember this, neutrals are like all black, its polished and perfect all year round.

San Diego really is sunshine and feelin’ fine. I was so excited for a little cold front to come in but spoke to soon… We got a heat wave instead. AYYYAYAI! Thankfully fashion is ahead of the game and Resort is filtering in, one vibrant shade at a time. I opted for a sporty look today and incorporated neon hues to compliment this feel-good weather. Clover Canyon is notorious for their eye catching bold prints and bright colors, so I paired this statement sweatshirt with a sporty drawstring skirt and poppy pumps. Today was really a run around errand day… I didn’t need a huge bag just a little something for my lipgloss and credit cards. My most recent obsession is this bossy bag that can be used as a coin purse, credit card/cash holder, etc. I take it everywhere and stash the essentials in it. The overzealous text leaves your girlfriends obsessed and onlookers dying to have it.
LA-ready for a shopping trip with the girls. I went for a casual cool style. It was a chilly day and I had a fun lunch planned. I’m normally anti-hats at a restaurant but thought this cute leather baseball cap was appropriate for our outside patio dining at Ivy.
So, It’s finally sweater weather in SoCal and I couldn’t be more excited! I love wearing a cozy oversized sweater, structured leggings and fun booties. These Alaia boots are edgy and add excitement to an otherwise casual look. I layered some chunky chain bracelets, grabbed my go-to sunnies and headed out. For the best shopping in LA, check out some of my favorites; Intermix, All Saints & Kitson LA all on robertson blvd. Hip, hot and happening!
