For fall, there are staple prints that we will always revert back to. Although animal prints are huge, floral prints are becoming even stronger this season. Many designers are fading away from the vibrant hues and transitioning fall into a more dark, romantic feel. Dramatic colors like merlot, hunter green & accents of deep red play a key role in this winters floral palette. I paired this Dolce & Gabbana looking blouse by Aryn K. with J. Brands metallic gold skinnies. Since we are now officially in fall, I opted for a statement pant and saved my leather leggings for a cold winter day. This top is incredible, its versatile look can be tucked into a port pencil skirt, paired with black pumps and gold jewelry for a drop dead gorgeous look.
I had a dinner date with my babe and it finally started to feel like fall. I felt my Fendi pyramid stud pumps were the perfect shoe for this look. Trust me, get these babies! They’re as comfortable as they look! Anyyways, the gold pant really accented the undertones of the blouse I wore. I grabbed my go-to BCBG Max Azria laser-cut clutch, layered on my favorite red lipstick, YSL Rouge Pur Couture in 203 & headed to din. Easy Breezy!
So today’s outfit post is from an early-August evening, watching a beautiful summer sunset over the cove before drinks with friends (hope you guys don’t mind the blast from the past). This BCBG Nixon jacket is beyond COOL… and since most San Diego nights require a jacket, I’ll wear this year-round. Here I am raving about it in Locale magazine. (I’m a little obsessed.) BCBG just knows how to do prints and jackets! They never disappoint.
A James Perse tee and my Jbrand Nash Boyfriend Shorts were the natural choice for me with this jacket. And since I love the idea of mixing prints, (it’s a way of showing your personality and creativity) I toted my Dolce & Gabanna Miss Sicily bag. Last but not least, I rocked these turquoise Zara heels to complete my outfit. They’ll take any look to another level!

I love rocking a head-to-toe East Coast look from time to time. And there’s no better time to do so than now! A bright red bag, studded stilettos, and a classic leopard print top is the recipe for a head-turning look! I love the combos of red and black, and leather and lacquer for fall! More of these mixes to come for sure!
New York Fashion Week was amazing and so inspiring! Stay tuned for a full re-cap! So excited to share the new trends!!!
I’m fascinated by LA street style. What can I say? I love “effortless chic”!!
I make frequent buying trips to L.A. for my boutique and I find that my outfits as well as my purchases are becoming edgier and more casual. I have often found that the looks that take the shortest amount of time, thought, and effort to put together turn out the best. It’s what LA street style is all about!
For every buying trip, I always bring my cute little notebook. It’s like an accessory in itself. It’s full of notes about the upcoming seasons’ trends and new twists on the classics.
TAKE NOTE: I’m currently obsessed with these Jbrand Photo-Ready skinnies. They are ultra-slimming and super-stretchy without losing shape. The “blacklash” wash is just perfect. I can’t wait to share more of my style notes in an upcoming post!
